Hello! I’m Timothy!
As early as I can remember, I’ve loved to create. Music, games, and entire new worlds came to life from my imagination. I was always happiest when I had the opportunity to create something new, or even take apart something old, just to see how it worked, so I could rebuild it my way.
Through the years, I’ve explored as many different art forms as I could manage. In highschool, I made a name for myself as an animator and morning TV news show producer, as well as performing in every school play. In college, I took ceramics and drawing classes, while focusing on my favorite: photography. I was in the very last class to use the film darkroom before the switched to all digital. How many photographers do you know today that can work a real darkroom?
After leaving the University of South Florida, I began my photography career in 2008. I was working at an Olive Garden at the time, when a coworker, knowing I was starting out as a photographer, asked me to photograph his sister’s wedding. I happily agreed, and officially fell in love with weddings as a place to capture some powerful, authentic photos of people crying, laughing, and celebrating the best moments of their lives.
In 2012, after a few difficult years, I met my amazing partner, Amanda, at just the perfect moment. We fell in love fast, and tied the knot after adventuring across the county. Amanda shares my love of creation, and helps me take my work to the next level.
Together, we have two wonderful kids and one awesome dog. My family is my world, and a reliable source of creative inspiration.
